I hadn't even heard of wild white salmon, but when I saw it at Santa Monica Seafood, I had to try it. Having totally bought into the omega 3 fad, I've been eating my share of pink salmon for awhile now. A change sounded intriguing. Once I had my fair fish home, I covered it in some "Northwoods Fire" seasoning from Penzeys and some salt. Then, the boyfriend grilled it up. It was oily (in a good way) and delightful with a milder flavor than its pink cousin. I would definitely partake in white salmon again.
